On holiday at Bembridge and found we had mice in our chalet. Holiday Park called out Five Star Pest Control who came in the afternoon to sort the problem. If a swarm of bees is accessible, bee keepers will be keen to attend your property and collect the bees to place in one of their hives. Please feel free to give us a call for advice. We are happy to help you make contact with a local bee keeper.
Honey bees are beneficial insects and are not aggressive. This means that many people choose to leave the bees alone. However, if you are concerned about the location or size of the nest, please feel free to give us a call. We can provide a quote for an initial survey report that will assess the size and location of the nest and propose a way to safely access the nest so the bees can be rehomed. We employ drones with thermal imaging technology to show the exact location of the nest. Most removal projects require steel scaffold to be installed to provide safe access, and a mason to be present to remove brickwork to expose the nest (and then make good at the end of the project).
Hornet nests can be treated in the same way as a wasp nest. Please call us and we will provide a quote for treatment.
These are likely to be cluster flies. They enter buildings in autumn ready to hibernate for the winter. We can quote to carry out insecticidal treatments or we can supply electronic fly killers that are safe for use against these flies.
